Can I scan a QR code from a saved image instead of the camera?
Yes — upload a photo or screenshot containing the QR code, and it will be decoded the same way as a live camera scan.
Is it safe to scan unknown QR codes?
Scanning itself is safe here — the tool shows you the decoded content (URL, Wi-Fi credentials, contact card) without acting on it. The risk is what you do next: check the revealed URL before visiting it, exactly as you would with a suspicious link.
