Break Down Language Barriers
Our specialized educational tool combines OCR technology with powerful dual-language translation to make Hindi curriculums accessible.
Camera & Image Scanning
Don't manually retype complex Hindi scripts on an English keyboard. Just snap a clear photo of the textbook page and let our OCR do the heavy lifting.
Dual Language Returns
Seamlessly toggle between standard English outputs and localized Tamil translations, enabling parents and students to effectively study together.
Homework Focused
Tuned to handle textbook literature, stories, grammatical questioning, and vocabulary items commonly found across elementary and high school boards.
Designed For Learners
Regional Students
If your primary spoken language is Tamil or English, conquering mandatory secondary Hindi classes can require a massive context bridge. This tool builds that bridge.
Supportive Parents
Guide your children through their homework accurately, even if you never formally studied the language curriculum yourself.

Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get the best scan quality?
Ensure there is plenty of light hitting the textbook page (without glaring). Hold your camera device parallel to the paper so the text sits straight, and try to zoom in specifically on the paragraph block you need rather than photographing the entire page and desk at once.
Can the tool translate my handwriting?
The optical character recognition (OCR) engine used is highly optimized for printed, standardized textbook fonts. While it may attempt to parse handwriting, deciphering script accurately will be significantly more prone to errors than scanning a printed document.
Which languages can I translate the lesson into?
Extracted Hindi text can be translated into English and Tamil, side by side, so students and parents can compare against the original.
Is the photo of my textbook uploaded?
Text extraction (OCR) runs in your browser. The extracted text — not the image — is then sent to our server for translation via Google Translate, and it isn't stored.

About This Utility
This tool is provided completely free of charge by Mavertex, built and maintained by Kumar, an independent UI developer.
Translation isn't something a browser can do alone: the text you enter is sent to our server, which forwards it to Google Translate and returns the result. We don't store the text you translate.
